FURTHER INFO:

The partnership with 'Pertemps' started in 2011 We are delighted that Pertemps have chosen to support us again this year. We are also very grateful to 'Pertemps' for their support this year for the new 'Pertemps Mission Motorsport' team. The Mission Motorsport team has entered our 2010 Championship winning 150 boat, in this years championship and we wish them every success.

Some may be interested to see the names 'Premier Cru 150' and 'Premier Cru 250' on the Pertemps Boats. The 150 boat was originally named 'Premier Cru' and we raced under that name in 2008, 2009 and for the first three events in 2010. We changed the name to our new sponsor, Pertemps, early in 2011 but after suffering from various incidents on the water and after advice from friends (Royal Navy careers) that it was bad luck to change the name of your boat, you will see that we have retained the name 'Premier Cru 150' on the Pertemps Mission Motorsport boat and 'Premier Cru 250' on the Pertemps Recruitment Panther 250.

John Wilson's Details

Date of Birth: 27 May 1952
Place of Birth: Coleshill, Birmingham
Describe Yourself: Re-built my FF 2000 race car (Royale RP27) from bent chassis 'rescued' from barn in 2008 (previously owned by Bob Juggins who crashed it in practise at Brands Hatch in 1980 ' it was cannibalised for parts until I bought it in 2008) My introduction to powerboat racing was courtesy of a friend who loaned his 150 series boat to me in 2008. I completed a training course with Neil Holmes before the start of the 2008 season which set me on the road to success. Neil and I met in 1993 through our mutual interest in flying and he was best man at my wedding to Mandy in 1999. When I suggested to him that we might have a go at forming a powerboat team together he immediately agreed and we have worked together right from the start to build a successful partnership. I know that I can rely on him 100% and that is really important so I can concentrate all my attention on the job of getting the best performance out of the boat.
