Speaking at Powerboat P1's headquarters in London, Chief Operating Officer Robert Wicks said: "The entire team here at P1 was greatly saddened to hear about Roy's passing. He was one of the sport's most enthusiastic and committed volunteers and will be dearly missed. Our sport would not survive were it not for the volunteers, and Roy epitomised the spirit and dedication that is required to perform this valuable role."
