P1 SuperStock had a P1 Panther race boat on display at the entrance to the show as well as one on the water giving rides to the delegates. Murray Barnet, (Vice President of Sport Channel Distribution and Syndication) from ESPN took a flying lap of Monaco bay in the P1 Panther and he commented: "Thanks for the powerboat trip, it was the highlight of Sportel for me, I can really see how Powerboat racing would work as a major sport!".
Christopher Ryan - Head of Sport for Red Bull Media House said:"I had a great ride in the Panther although I am glad there were no other boats about but I love the concept of an equal racing sport which is all about the driver - as a viewer that makes for an interesting sport".
P1 production and distribution company Greenlight TV said: "Having the P1 Panthers here has really helped raise awareness and interest in the SuperStock Championship. We have had a very positive response."
